Unbelievably HOT Lie to Me kinkfic rec: Good Girl
I recced the first fic I ever read by her_pseudonym, and her latest piece, Good Girl, gets a rec that's every bit as enthusiastic.
Once more, her_pseudonym gets characterisation and voices just PERFECT for Cal and Gillian, and the sex is just scorching, especially if, like me, you have a bit of a thing for dirty talk.
But more than just being HOT, there's also some excellent exploration of Cal and Gillian as characters - we get to see that neither Cal nor Gillian are just the good girl/bad boy they appear to be on the surface, and we get to see a wonderful strength in Gillian that few fanfic writers seem to recognise, let alone depict in their writing. And I also like the way the issue of consent is explored, and the conclusions the fic reaches.
Basically, to sum it all up, I love this fic, and will, I suspect, be rereading it frequently when I get the itch. Because seriously. It's good squishy!
