Whee, fic for me?! *hugs*

Aww, John Smith! And poor Martha, having to explain when she doesn't even really understand, herself.

Yep, just for you - *hugs back*. So it was kind of a good thing that you were busy enough that I didn't want to ask you to beta... this way you get the fully-formed-fic direct to your doorstep (and whoah, there was way too much alliteration in that sentence)

Yeah, I had this image in my mind of Martha desperately trying to explain all this stuff to the Doctor that *he'd* been the one to set up, and trying so hard to carry it off as though she believed it herself....

Fully-formed-fic is a good thing. Reading makes me want to write! Stupid term papers, taking up all my creative energy...

I liked that very much - interesting insight into how he must have felt then. Nice work!

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah... it occurred to me that if you've just had your entire biology, down to the DNA, completely rewritten, it would probably leave your mind at least a *tad* confused.

Interesting point at which to set a fic...

Thanks... I'm not sure why it occurred to me as a logical place for someone to find they "were sticky" at (which was the challenge), but yeah... I guess that's just the way my weird brain works.

Thanks for the comment!

They kind of need to come standard issue with fic writers, I suspect. How else do we come up with some of the crack we come up with?

Hee! I love this! It's not something I'd thought about before, and I love the way you've addressed it. And your John Smith and Martha voices are perfect. :-)

Grins... yeah, it's not exactly something obvious to write about, and I'm not sure exactly *why* it struck me as an obvious point to kick off a story about someone feeling sticky (let's face it... the phrase almost totally calls for Jack to have been involved somewhere ;-)

Thank you for the feedback (and the help with it), and especially for commenting - I'm very much audio-focussed when it comes to the modalities in which my mind operates, so getting the voices right is always a big thing for me, and it's always a relief when someone lets me know I've managed it.

Thanks again

Starfire

Which is really too easy, isn't it? :D

Not that that means it shouldn't be written, of course. Heavens forbid we should be derelict in our duties as fangirls and miss an opportunity to write about a sticky Jack... (or about someone Jack's made sticky... let's not be closed-minded here ;-)
