Summers are always busy and I never post quite when I intend to. These arrived on my doorstep a bit early, but here I am posting about them after my birthday.

My lovely birthday present from my family:

They are super mini combs by Alvin Ramer. Here is it in the built-in pad, which is one of the reasons I love this set.

Also, sea shell dizes. That has to be one of my main reasons for wanting a set from Mr. Ramer. I'm easy.

These are different than metachaos's combs, being smaller and finer in tines. Here's how they look together, with obligatory coffee cup for size.

Super mini on left, Craftsmith 4-pitch English on right.

I finally finished blending the Lincoln and mohair for some rugged socks with the new combs.

And tried them out on the Romney from MDSW and some Targhee x Merino that Meta had given me.

And speaking of Metachaos and wool, she brought back the Jacob that went home with her, but all nice and clean.

I'm really looking forward to combing the wool from these, but I'm wanting to save it for a project for the fall and winter. I do have that Romney to get through first, and it has a project already in mind.

And bonus kitty pic.
