For those of you not in the know, Emperor Mateus Palamecia is the ruler of the kingdom of Palamecia (which apparently also serves as his last name). During the course of events in Final Fantasy II he invaded the kingdom of Fynn and took over many surrounding cities. He was eventually defeated by a band of rebels, only to return to the living as the ruler of Hell. The rebels killed him again. The end.
My version of Mateus also has knowledge from the Dissidia-universe. Therefore, he knows his fellow Chaos villains and the Cosmos heroes. You don't need to know anything about Dissidia or FFII to play with him though.
When it comes to sex, Mateus swings both ways. He's not a sex addict, but tends to seek out "entertainment" a good deal of the time. It's also a stress-reliever (who knew?). Mateus' control over magic enables him to do all sorts of things - but the majority of those aren't suitable for bedroom conduct. Despite his inflated ego, Mateus can be courteous if he deems it will help him any.
TL;DR - Mateus is a total jerk who is power-hungry, abusive, and loves others obeying him. Expect him to be douche.
