I'm glad it's all over
I have been a busy girl. I haven't had time for anything and these last couple of month have been insane. School is finally over this semester. I never thought it would end. This was a difficult semester for me. I had a lot of personal issues going on that conflicted with school.
I'm so happy that it is almost Christmas. I love this time of year although global warming sucks and it is 85 degrees here everyday. All of my shopping is done. Two days after christmas I get to fly out to Cali again and then we are going to Las Vegas for New Years Eve. This winter break has been awesome and will continue to be awesome. I got to see Nikki up in North Carolina a couple days ago. It was fun up there and I will have to go back when it is warmer. I got to see some snow flurries right before I left and I was excited about that. I think I broke Nikki's heart by leaving and I feel really bad for that. When I got back to FL I realized I still have a lot of crap to do before Christmas so I really did need to leave. I'll be back I promise.
Exactly 6 weeks ago today I had surgery and I'm all better now. I'm 100% healed and I'm feeling great. ROTC still has me on profile which sucks because they won't let me do anything. I felt fine right after my surgery and I wanted to continue to work out but they said no. Whatever I worked out yesterday and it was pretty tough after not doing it for a while. I'm trying to get back into things and keep my girlish figure. ;)
My computer crashed a couple of weeks ago and that was horrible. I got a new one which is pretty good but all of my files and music and junk like that is gone. Right now I'm trying to download all the songs that I already had on my Ipod. It is time consuming but what can you do?
My great grandma passed away about 2 weeks ago. I couldn't go up to Nebraska for the funeral but my mom and my aunt did. It was snowing up there and I would have froze. I couldn't go because I was really busy with school. School has been crazy busy for me. Every time I had a lot of work to do and I finish it I thought I would get to relax and go out but no I had just as much work to do the following week. It was terrible and I'm glad it is over.
ROTC has been a pain in my ass as well. Next semester I will be a flight commander so I'm happy about that. I think it is a job that I will really enjoy. In January we get to start picking our careers in the AF. I would love to do Space and Missiles but I don't want to be stuck underground doing missiles and only 5% of those picked for Space and Missiles get to do space. I'm thinking of communications. I took a information system management class this year and I loved it. I really like to work on computers and I think in Comm I have the best chance. Plus comm is everywhere so I get a lot of option in places to be stationed.
Right now I'm working at Babies R Us. I know it sounds funny but I love working there. I working in the furniture department and get to help people design nurseries. I really hated children before I started working there but now I really want some of my own. Not any time soon but I'm glad that it has opened me up to the idea of having children. I have meet a lot of cool people there too. They have taking me all over Tampa so now I actually like the city and I'm having fun.
I think I'm going to end it here. Lets hope that next year will be a lot better then this one was. Peace Out!
