So, I set all these fabulous goals for myself at the beginning of the week and then I went and hurt myself doing something I had really no business doing in the first place... Playing Dodgeball with other members and some of the fitness staff at work after Zumba on Monday night....
So, this means I am confined to the pool until the swelling in my ankle goes down and it quits hurting when I walk. I guess I'll be doing a lot of swimming and lighter impact water exercise. So not what I want, but better to let it heal. I will however be speaking with the trainers tomorrow morning to see if I can still do the RBT workouts as I do not like missing those.
I am moving into phase two of the program where I go on the sustainable plan for fat loss according to my metabolic burner type. I am excited because it means I have more food options as well. The second four week focus allows participants to choose to focus on belly fat or cellulite... I am unsure which to pick as yet, but will read the information when it comes in my email. So far on the first four week kick start program I have lost 10 pounds and 15 inches overall. I will do final weight and measurements probably over the weekend as the second four weeks starts Monday.
I'm feeling more positive and I am already below the weight at which I ran my very first triathlon. I am headed for under 200 pounds and able to fit into my triathlon suit one piece by July 14th. I am really hoping to be able to get in on the triathlon again this year as I know I can do better than last year. I will need to speak to the trainers about options for food and other things once training begins middle or late April. Working hard toward a goal and then accomplishing that goal is important to me. The race in question is a sprint distance triathlon with a 325 yard open water swim, a 14 mile bike, and a 3.25 mile run.
