I suggest that everyone should drive through fog to relieve the stress of the day. Not that my day or yours was particularly stressful, but in the event that you have a stressful day, you should drive through fog to remove the afformentioned stress. Why? You ask, well I'll tell you. It's as if the world slows down when you're driving through fog at night. Like the projector that's showing life decided to move at 50 frames per minute slower than usual and you really appreciate things more. The road reveals itself to you one segment at a time, changing the metaphor from eternity to more of a disjointed stream of conciousness that existentialists love so much. It also helps if you listen to something calming. I suggest The Weakerthans or Death Cab for Cutie but that doesn't mean you can't "rock out", as they say, when trying to relax. No, there is a lot to be said about contrast; and the insanity of Thrice or My Chemical Romance can do wonders to remind you how peaceful the world outside is. Either way, it's of the utmost importance that everyone get up out of their chairs, back away from their desks (or whatever comparable piece of furniture that their computers rests on) and go driving. or have sex on a waterbed. Whichever one would make you happier, although after reading the extensive work done on the latter subject, I would have to endorse driving through fog.
