Thanks for reading. I think so too. I mean living for your parents and loving whoever youl ove. I felt like it was a good idea to show readers the aspect of such a relationship, that not everyone in America might be all for the rainbow (sadly). Plus, I kinda felt that it humanized the concept of the j2 and their relationship, showed the fear of damaged reputation, and stuff. They are human after all. :D
