(no subject)
Well I havent updated in a while so I guess I will just go back as far as I can remember!
Last weekend was family weekend, I think it went pretty well! My parents and my brother came up for the day on Saturday. My brother had never been to Grand Valley before and my dad had never seen the house, so they were pretty excited. We went shopping to get my brother some clothes for his first homecoming dance...aww! He is a sophomore but he never went last year, and this year he is going with a date. I think I was more excited than him, but oh well! So anyway, my family shops slow and I was getting a little stressed about getting back to the house in time for the bbq, so I was acting a little bit like a brat. We made it back in time and got to eat and everything so it worked out fine. But I felt pretty bad about acting like such a brat. I dont know what was with me!
Last week was not my fav. I had a ton of stuff that all seemed to come in one week, but i'm sooo glad it is over! I feel so much better now. I have a stats test on thursday, so i'm kinda nervous about that. I suck at math! We handed out 4 more bids on Tuesday...yay! Fall 05 just keeps growing! I think all of the new girls seem great! I havent gotten a chance to really get to know many of them yet, but I'm looking forward to spending more time with them. I'm excited for big sis unveiling on Sunday too, even though i'm not a big sister! I kinda wish I was a big sister, but I know that I will be better off doing it next year when I have more time and money to prepare!
Now I am at home for the weekend. Its been pretty good so far. Last night I went to douglas j to get my eyebrows waxed. I made my mom come with me so I didnt have to go alone, but Kristina was there getting her hair done so I wouldnt have been alone anyway. Then I went back to douglas j this morning to get my hair cut and colored. Don't worry, I didnt realyl do anything different...just a much needed touch up! Then i went shopping with my mom. I got a few things to dress up in. I have like no clothes to wear to meetings...it's not good! Then I came home and helped my brother get ready for homecoming. I made him put some products in his hair..haha he did not like it! Back in the day he used to use gel like all the time. I guess he is just to cool for that now. Then I tagged along with my parents to take pictures. I felt old. I was like ok these kids can't even drive yet! I usually feel so young in the house (cuz i am!) but I definatly felt old tonight. Then I went to blockbuster and I saw the girls I babysit during the summers. I was so excited! Yup, I'm a mom...but i could tell they were excited to see me too. Usually when Hannah (the younger girl) sees me after not seeing me for a while she gets really shy and hides behind her mom or dad, but she like ran up to me and was talking up a storm! She loves kindergarten and i'm so glad because she was so nervous about starting school! Ok seriously, I am a mom b/c that was like the highlight of my day. I know those who read this will make fun of me later for that;)!
Every time I come home I want to watch movies from my childhood. Last time it was free willy, and this time I really want to watch the babysitters club, but I can't find it anywhere! I remember loving that movie so much, plus me and Kristina were just talking abot it the other night. Alright well I think i'm gonna go look for some childhood movies...plus this entry is getting way to long and boring! Have good rest of the weekend!
