For the month of January, I've run 210 miles. That's averaging almost 7.8 miles for every day that I ran, and even counting the 4 days I took off this month, it's stll almost 6.8 miles.
This is the most I've ever run in my entire life.
One of two things will happen:
1) This training will work out like I've planned and I'll have the best track season ever.
2) My body will break down from the high mileage I've built up to, and it will be enough to keep running.
It's a risky thing, pushing yourself to your limits, but I figure it's worth the risk, especially since I enjoy running anyway, and long runs are amazing.
Between all this running, all the reading and homework that I have to do and those other things that manage to take up my time, I'm wiped.
