I was reading the Watchmen livejournal community and someone posted a graph of most talked about topics about the movie. The largest one that took up a huge chunk of the graph was Dr. Manhattan's blue penis. It's getting annoying hearing about that everywhere. Doesn't it ever get old? I don't know about anyone else, but there are a lot more interesting things to talk about after seeing this movie.

Here's what I talked about after seeing it:

1. How ridiculously awesome Rorschach was.
2. How faithful it was to the comic- though it did have changes. (I read part of the comic, and my sister said she knew the ending was changed. For the parts that I read the movie was exactly like the comic. I'm reading the rest of it now.)
3. How Ozy suddenly became awesome at the end even though he was the villain. I liked him a lot as the smartest man in the world who created this huge plan to bring about world peace. Matthew Goode was great. :)
4. How it seems like everyone loves the opening credits sequence. I love that part too.
5. Speaking of that sequence, I always get the chills when I watch it because of all of the historical events.
6. My favorite shots, such as when Rorschach and Nite Owl II arrive in Antarctica.
7. Parts of the film that I wanted to have a gif of. Ex: the one of Ozy in my userinfo ;)
8. How I loved that fact that Ozy's plan worked and as he revealed it to the Watchmen, he was so stoic about it. And then he said (something along the lines of), "Do you really think I'd tell you my plan if there was any chance of you stopping it?" It already happened 35 minutes ago. BAM! What a slap in the face!
9. Basically I could go on about each of my favorite parts for each character.
10. And I can go on and on about how spectacularly shot the film was. Someday I will do that here. When I have it on DVD. :)
11. My sister talked about certain connections the movie had with the comic book, like symbolism and such.

wtf, watchmen
