(no subject)
Ok, so I know I didn't want to be on the 11th floor of Jesse (which is where I've been placed, with roomate *sigh* two of my requests that didn't go through), but I didn't know that the 11th floor was the stuff of my nightmares.
I had just arived at the university, and was on an orientation thing (yeah Jounior year, orentation.. dream logic) one of the activities at this orientation was "learn to do your own laundry". So me and a bunch of other girls end up in the Laundry room at Jesse. All seems alright, we talk, are friendly ect. Then the leader said "Ok girls now that we've done our laundry time to put it away, off to your rooms" And I'm the only one on the way to the 11th, most of the rest are from the 5th floor. So we go up the stairs to the first floor with our baskets. And a couple elevators come and all the 5th floor girls get on those, they are full, I wait for the next one. When it finaly gets there, a bunch of people who were behind me (I didn't see them till it got there) pile in with me, and I am still the only one going to 11. So a ton of buttons get pressed (this is an 11 floored building, but there are over 150 floor buttons). Somehow even though I was standing there, the whole building has morphed into a hotel/dorm hybrid, with brass elevators and red carpet. And nice wood work everywhere. Lots of cherry wood. The elevator has a swinging bench that faces the wrong way, and rises so fast that I got vertigo. We make our way to the 5th floor, people get off, the elevator returns to the first. 10th floor same deal. 7th again the same. Finally after many ups and downs there is just me and this older gent, who seems to live in the elevator, not like he has stuff in there, but he just never leaves it. We banter on the way up to the 11th, then when we get there the doors open ominusly and the lights are off, so it's this dark hallway with windows... and no people... really creepy. And then I woke up.
So apparently the 11th floor is EVIL. lol I really hope I get into Pantzer soon after the semester starts.
