back from a long hiatus
So it's been like a million years since I have been on livejournal but my sister was talking about it the other day and I figured I would venture back. Besides, I could certainly use a place to vent from my stressful life, or at least put my life into perspective and decide if it is in fact stressful. I just hope there will be no more live journal drama from anonymous people who "hate me" which is why I left in the first place. Life is way too short to have online drama. Besides, I doubt anyone will even read my journal.
Anywho, presently I am watching the Golden Globes, and I must say this years globes have been extremely satisfying for me. All I really wanted was for Heath Ledger to get best supporting actor, which he did, and for Wall-E to win best animated feature, which it did. But who am I kidding they were both shooins (sp?). David Duchovny didn't win, but as he told his son on air he's still happy, aww! :) I got a text from an old friend tonight which was ironic since he was on my mind after my boyfriend mom started talking about a movie I have only watched with him. Since I know he had/has a LJ I wont mention who it was or what movie, to save him from humiliation, but I did enjoy hearing from him. It's always nice to reconect with old friends. It lets you know the people you have shared great times memories with but have lost touch with are still out in the world, and they still care enough to see what you're up to. That is comforting, especially in an age where friends really don't seem to last very long, and true friends are hard to find, but enough sappy crap, I'm off to have a glass of wine and apologize to Chase for whatever redicuolous thing I did to make him angry tonight. Oh the drama just never ends!
