i too have been writing mostly all on private, but i will say fook you to private for 80% of the time!
i gave up cable as my new year's resolution, so this should lead me to lots more time to not be a loser watching cable... i mean, more time to write in LJ.
i am still working at randstad. i manage the north jax and brunswick, ga branches. my company recently asked me for the 3rd time in one year to transfer back to my hometown of fort myers. i told them to stuff it, but then said, well wait... maybe. i'm terribly bored in my job. i don't hate it, i just feel like the smart kid in class who doesn't do his homework because it's too easy. this job is done. i got my team where i want them and now they run like a well-oiled machine. they only need light maintenance... i need a challenge!! they offered me $20000 more and a $10000 relocation bonus, plus i can still bonus on my successful branches for up to 9 months. that would be another 6-10k depending on if they kept being so well-oiled, or lubed if you will. i don't know. i still told them no. i don't want to move yet.
i was just made chair for IMPACTjax's service and giving committee for 2008. hooray! it's going to be really fun, and i've already gotten several dates out of the deal.
guys: i've been going on many dates, but have to be honest when i say that i'm secretly hoping jonathan will magically come back from thailand without a 15 year old bride.
however, i have recently started seeing someone i really think i could like. BUT, i always say that... except when i say no right away. i am soooooo bad at this whole commitment and relationship thing. i have a great sexual chemistry with this guy, and he's really chill... we'll see!
