So I am about 27 comments away from hitting 1k with Rachel and I was going to be a good girl and wait, BUT I'M IMPATIENT SO FUCK IT.

Okay so normally by now Annie would be in I MISS MITCHEL AND GEORGE WHIIINE WHINE WHINE MY LIFE IS PAIN mode. While she misses them like crazy, a big reason why she isn't obnoxious about it is Hanna! He is definitely one of her favorite people in camp, and her whole opinion of the place would be different if she hadn't met him. He's fun! He acts weird a lot but, hey, she is pretty spazzy herself so she can't really judge on that. Talking to him just puts her in an all around good mood, even though things have a knack at heading in the awkward and terrible direction for them. A lot. She is also suuuper relieved that he knows that she's a ghost now. Keeping it a secret from him was a lot more work than she had bargained for, and even though there were a lot of hurt feelings immediately after that, it turned out fine in the end! She does regret not telling him sooner, but alas. YOU LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES unless you're Hanna I guess. She wants to know more about him! She has noticed that she has told him way more about herself than the other way around. And it's kinda weird since Hanna is so nice and friendly so you'd expect him to talk about his life more often. BUT NOPE.

She still feels really awful over the thing though. Really awful. She knows by now if she mentions that though, he or Conrad or anyone else is just going to go IT WASN'T YOUR FAAAAUUUULT. So she is just going to act like everything is cool and then freak out when she is by herself because OH NO SHE HURT HANNA. She doesn't like hurting people! She apologizes for hitting a vampire with a chair even when he was trying to kill George. And friends are really important to her, because at this point they're all she has. So combining the two of them, and she is a mess. So she will be trying her hardest to make it up to him! Though even when she eventually becomes visible again she'll be... extremely hesitant about touching him, haha. She'll probably keep a good foot or two between them at all times just in case. Also all of this isn't helped by the fact that right now she is very paranoid of doors. So yes.

Also she is extremely clueless about his obvious crush on her, and she will continue to be unless someone points it out to her.

SO LET ME START OFF BY SAYING THAT Hanna has a massive crush on Annie. Surprise!! He's awkward around girls, period, but in camp he actually has friends that are girls which is pretty new and bizarre and exciting and he doesn't quite know how to deal with it in terms of being Just Friends because eeeeeee girls ♥ ♥ ♥ so he's giddy and lame and thinks they are amazingperfectkyaa. HE'S PAST THAT STAGE WITH WENDY mostly but it took awhile for that to get there. IN SUMMARY: hanna likes all the girls

The ghost thing was a huge shock to Hanna--not that someone was a ghost, but that Annie was a ghost, which is the one paranormal thing he gets squeamish about because of Mysterious Issues and Events. He usually brushes it off because SELF PRESERVATION AND SADNESS WHAT ARE THOSE. He didn't want it to be a big deal! But he had no idea and it really blindsided him and he freaked out some and then freaked out because he was freaking out and IT SUCKED. And then the fainting thing happened and it was also the worst ever but he's going to keep playing it off because it's what he does, it wasn't Annie's fault, and EVERYTHING IS 100% OKAY GUYS THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH ME (yes there is)

He doesn't want to talk about it so he's hoping Annie will believe him and Conrad when they tell her not to worry about it. 8(a He hateshateshates seeing her upset, especially knowing that it's his fault. He just wants Annie to be happy forever!! Hanna is super protective of all his friends and if anybody else made her seriously upset he might

She wants to know more about him! She has noticed that she has told him way more about herself than the other way around.

This is another thing Hanna doesn't know how to deal with! At home, before Zombiebro and everyone turned up, he knew Worth and Lamont, and that's kind of it--everyone else was firmly in the acquaintance zone. They knew his job, that he's a huge spaz and him hanging around is bad news/bad for customers/GODDAMNIT HANNA DON'T BREAK THAT but his friendliness just... gives the illusion of people actually knowing anything about him!? The things he shares about himself are superficial (pancakes and dinosaurs and bad movies and PARANORMAL SHENANIGANS!!) and he changes the subject whenever anything else comes up. He's finally in a situation where he has actual close friends and it's AWESOME but a few times multiple people have gotten mad at him for not telling the truth or not sharing something important and he just. DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO or how to handle his issues and talking about them is not going to happen so they don't go away and ahhhh

On the other hand he's a total hypocrite and wants to know everything about everybody so he'll probably ask Annie a ton of questions and not know what to do if she starts asking them back. He doesn't want to not be honest, except he kind of does but he doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings and it is all a mess noooo

ohp I got sidetracked, back on the topic of Annie!! Hanna thinks she's nice and funny and perfect and is so happy she's getting to know his other friends from home because she can be part of the group and it'll be great! She's always fun to hang out with and he's going to miss actually talking to her like crazy until she turns un-invisible. 8'( He probably sends her MASSIVELY LONG EMAILS that jump subjects and are weird and disjointed because he kept getting distracted and wandering away while writing them and then at the end he links videos of cute bunnies or something.
