So I am about 27 comments away from hitting 1k with Rachel and I was going to be a good girl and wait, BUT I'M IMPATIENT SO FUCK IT.

OKAY SO Rachel is very flip floppy on her feelings regarding Jesse! I do think that she still has romantic feelings for him, but she. Loves Finn more! So it is super weird to have Jesse around and not Finn because of that. She also feels pretty guilty over the whole KISS THAT MISSED thing; she doesn't regret it, but. Jesse! Even if he hadn't actually experienced it himself. Despite that though, she is genuinely happy that he's here. Their rather awkward past aside, he really is someone that she feels completely comfortable with. They're almost always on the same wavelength, so it's easy to talk to him! She loves their tangents that no one else would really understand, and just hanging out with him in general. He's still her Jesse!

Buuut then there's the whole thing where he has been here a lot longer than she has. She has noticed that every time she has asked about things that involve him and dangerous things, he closes himself off. Then there is their most recent thread where she flat out saw him getting shanked and he was still just LOL NO PROBLEMS HERE I'M JESSE ST. JAMES BITCHES. It's frustrating! She honestly is okay with him not actually talking to her about it, but it's the fact that he pretends that absolutely nothing happened at all that annoys her. Rachel doesn't like secrets! She has gotten herself into a load of trouble because of her dislike of them. So him lying about things to her face is kind of insulting. She has a feeling that she would understand these things better when she's around longer, but she doesn't want to wait around for the realization to hit her. So, yes, she is probably going to go out and investigate things on her own and have some chats with vampires. Because she cares.

IT'S. It's complicated. Jesse has been in camp for awhile, he has been, shall we say, very closely involved with both Rachel and Finn in the past, and then they left and he has sort of accepted that and promptly closed himself off to everyone except for like two people (only one of those options is healthy). And then Rachel comes back! And doesn't remember anything. Rachel is Rachel, and Jesse will always love her. He is also well aware of the fact that she loves Finn and when it comes down to him and Finn, in her mind, he may lose. And losing means getting hurt emotionally, which is something he tries to protect himself against, so he does shut her out a lot. Because in his head, he can't lose if he wasn't in the game in the first place! . . . this is obviously not success.

He'll make references to things! Jesse is not so good at playing coy with his feelings for her and doesn't even bother, but he isn't actively pursuing her nor does he plan on investing any time in actually wooing her. He knows about the incident and while it didn't happen to him, he doesn't really . . . want it to happen to him. Unless Rachel shows an active interest in pursuing something more with him, Jesse fully plans to close himself off in that respect, which means not confiding in her when maybe he would have in the past.

And it's also a silly pride thing but, you know. Jesse St. James. He adores Rachel, but is keeping her at an arm's length because he's been hurt, he's changed a lot over the past year and a half, and he doesn't intend on getting hurt again. And he's kind of dumb but he's a teenager. It comes with the territory. Feelings are hard. etc.

also god Rachel please don't talk to Damon, I thought we were friends.

DC - I would love Superman since. Superman. And Kara would love to have her cousin forever. I honestly don't mind which version! It can be the comics or one of the animated ones or WHATEVER. I just want Clark.

Torchwood - Gwen, so Tosh can have fun girl teammate times! They will probably be more awkward than fun, but details.

Being Human - MITCHELL AND GEORGE. I know you said one but I really can't choose between them. They are Annie's best friends and basically her everything and she will never be fully happy in camp if they're not around.

What's one of your favorite things about playing Lincoln?!

WELL uh. I generally play characters who are jerkasses or have this hard exterior shell that makes them abrasive. Right now, I have Jesse who is Jesse and Elijah, a 1000+ year-old vampire who just doesn't care, and that's pretty representative of the types I tend to play. AND THEN, there is Lincoln, who hits a lot of my pings, but he's also a character who has actual compassion and empathy and all that jazz. He is a genuinely decent person, whereas the other two are terrible people who may or may not be attempting to be better. I PLAY A GOOD PERSON, IT'S A WEIRD FEELING! I love it, though, and it's enjoyable for me because I get this whole different dynamic in CR as opposed to what I have for the other two. It's fun.

. . . and then I remembered that I once described most of the characters I play or played as types that indulge in "MASSIVE DICKERY OF THE NOT SAFE KIND." Lincoln is the safest character I have actually played in years. :Dd YOU CAN BE LEFT ALONE WITH HIM IN A ROOM AND FEEL COMFORTABLE!

Do you have any plans for Rachel in camp?

Besides meeting vampires!! Um.

There's glee club things but I want to wait until after October to mess with that since it's a pretty busy month. Otherwise I mostly just want to acquaint her with as many weird camp things as possible since she still mostly retains the LOL opinion about it that a lot of people have when the first arrive. Granted the whole Road thing certainly helped with that, but! I'd also like her to make CR that's her own, if that makes sense? Like so far most of the people she talks to is somehow involved with another glee person or they knew the previous her. Soo, yes!

Other than that, I don't really have anything specific in mind!

I have oooone more app planned, and after that I am going to immediately ban myself from apping. There ARE other characters I'd like to play, but for various reasons I can't atm so no to them. :>!

Will you end up canon updating Lincoln whenever the new season gets further along?
