In seriousness, though, I'm really glad you liked the ending scene. I was a bit worried it was leaning a biiiit towards overly dramatic, but I felt that with those two nothing could be too dramatic, considering they both suck (and not in the good way) and everything's coming to a front after years of not addressing the issue.
And fuck yes British Empire. Poor England's had enough. There's only so much a guy can take at the hands of a stupid boy. America fucked up big time after all (as he's finally, uh, realized, among other things).
But yessss I agree. Writing these two is seriously just way too much fun. UST, as I've mentioned in the past, is seriously my favorite thing ever to write and these two just make it... so, so stupidly easy to write. I barely have to do any work; they create the magic (and fail) themselves. And then have epic denial and suck at communicating. Oh boys, you both speak English. Get with it.
