Late night strangeness...

So going up to Storrs last night was fun. The only thing that I would mention (because of the oddness) was this incident on the way home last night at a little after 3.

It was raining a little bit then, and of course dark, so I was taking it fairly slow. Two cars came up behind me and didn't try to get past, so they were following me for a few minutes, and then I came upon this SUV that was going a little slower then me. We followed him for about 5 minutes, then all of a sudden the two cars behind me turned on their lights...they were cops. One shot by me to pull over the guy in front, and the other one kind of blocked me in on the side to make sure I had to pull over and stay over.

I couldn't figure out why they'd turned on their lights, because we had not been speeding. Eventually the cop blocking me came over and asked if I was traveling with the guy in front, and I said no, so he told me to pull on by. So I did and was on my way....but I don't know why the whole thing happened. Was there some kind of random tip they had about him? Did they decide they don't like people in SUV's? What was the deal? I didn't catch up to the guy until well of campus, nearly to the highway, but when I drove by his car I could see that he was probably the same age as me, and most likely had come from UCONN as well.

Just an odd occurrence....otherwise good times had by all, I’d say.
