Beep Chirp

I had a strangely amazing Decemberween.  I'm not always comfortable with my family.  I love them.  They love me.  But I don't really fit.  This year felt different.  I might have had jagged edges, but the pieces matched up.  It was surreal and wonderful.  The snow, the food, the crazy conversations made it worth the hassle it took to get there.  I also loved watching movies with my Mom.  It's an odd highlight, I know.  But I managed to watch (in order of my happiness of watching them): Star Trek, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Salt, and Inception.

Reading many, many "looks back on 2010" posts from freinds.  Frankly I don't want to look back.  So I'm not.  Hello 2011.

The electronic birds appear to be mocking me today.  The Boy-in-the-basement swears they only go off on the hour, but they've been chirping their digitized chirps every half hour.  I think I might one day accidentally toss a hammer at it.  No, better yet, knock over his beer so it fries their feathery circuits.  Go beer!

new year, decemberween, electric birds
