“I can’t believe him -- watching me like that! But then, I really don’t know what I was thinking; I knew he was just a shameless scoundrel and of course this wouldn’t be beneath him--”
And then a Chappy the Bunny soul candy dispenser went flying across the room.
“Whoa, Rukia, calm down--”
“Why should I?” she snapped. “He saw me naked, if you hadn’t realised, and if that snickering of his was anything to go by, he’s going to be entertained by this for centuries--”
She looked around wildly, but luckily, there were no other Chappy products nearby for her to abuse.
“Rukia,” Renji finally drawled, barely keeping the laughter out of his voice as he braved her wrath to walk closer, slide his arms around her shoulders, and pull her to his chest.
He leaned down to press a soft kiss to her hair, waited until he felt her body finally begin to relax, and then he grinned.
“What the hell else were you expecting,” he snickered, “when we were having sex on Urahara’s roof?”
