It is not strictly a gesture of subservience - he knows absolutely her level of loyalty and devotion, and she knows they have no need for such a petty thing as proof - but she does not want to see him through the veil with which he sees the world.
She realises that the flame is more than a weapon; understands the way it clouds and colours his vision even when it lays cold and dormant within him, like a coiled snake ready to spring. She hears the sharp edge to his laughter when he lets it flare, when he forces his way forward and there is nothing that can stand in his path.
She knows that the sound is real.
And she thinks that, perhaps, that this is the true source of her Mukuro-sama’s power - that his illusions are inescapable because one day they will have no choice but to truly exist.
