He wants that damn lizard.
He knows he shouldn’t, really, not when he already has an animal of his own - except that yes, he really should, considering that said animal does nothing but go on the rampage and attempt to trample everything in sight, owner included.
(Honestly, isn’t it bad enough that his own student continually keeps trying to bite him to death? He doesn’t need a pet to help speed the process along, thank you very much.)
And he had come so, so close.
The snowfight had been a guaranteed disaster from the beginning (if not an amusing one; he wonders still if his cute little brother has caught on to the fact that his right-hand man finds him - well, a little more than cute, apparently), but he’d happily gone along with it anyway, because hey, free lizard.
Really, he’d thought, it couldn’t go wrong.
Except, oh yes, it could.
And as he nurses this latest slew of bruises courtesy of Enzio and remembers being trapped in the midst of quite possibly the world’s biggest snowball, he reminds himself that next time, he should just tell Gokudera that he should get Leon as a present for Tsuna, and then take it off the boy’s hands himself when it inevitably just makes him somehow panic.
