I Dream of Cats

I love the movie Instinct. I had forgotten how much I'd enjoyed it (until last night when I found it on tv and ended up watching it until 2:30 in the morning...)! Also, I think starting to become an internet junkie... So I'm on mySpace now http://www.myspace.com/14642091 . It's like a big current yearbook and I'm having fun with it :) Is that pathetic? I don't know, I can't tell (yet).

I had a strange and worthless dream last night. First of all, I was in a normal neighborhood where everyone was out in the streets singing "Here Comes Halloween" from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Unfortunately, I had forgotten one very important consequence I've always had with watching that movie. I forgot that every time I watch that movie, I end up dreaming about being inside of Halloweentown every night for at least a week. That would normally be very cool but really think about it; it's scary. It's, well, a nightmare.

Anyway, so in this dream, I was finally able to keep a pet that wasn't an amphibian, bird or fish. A cat. Mom let me buy a cat. So this cat was extremely heavy, about the size that Cheshire cat was in proportion to Alice, and was dark tan with a tinge of black near the ends of most hairs. I guess this coloration could have been more aptly put as "the Himalayan" color, but this cat was too strange to be assimilated to anything normal and known to this world.

Aw crap, I have no time. I'll have to cut this short. Maybe I'll edit later.

This cat did strange things, and acted human. I kept forgetting to feed it and it spent a lot of its time pawing at the carpet, hoping to consume bits of it. When I finally remembered to buy some food, the old owner came back and saw that I mistreated the cat (which he KNEW I'd do since he had cast a spell at the cat so that whosoever owns it will forget to feed it), he took out a machete and talked threateningly for a while, all the time sharpening his weapon. I can't recall what had happened next, but by the way things were going, and because of the tone and mood that were set throughout this dream, I think it is safe to believe that.... yeah, you know.
