Oliver wasn't sure what to think when the news broke about Vesper and Bruce. Yes, he'd overheard the one sided argument at the chalet. Yes, he saw Bruce lose it by kicking the chair. Tony had tried to stop Bruce from leaving and a fight broke out. These things happen

Bruce Wayne had spent a lot of time looking into Oliver Queen. But he wouldn't call him a friend.
He'd be pleased Oliver called him one. That worked. He never dreaded seeing Oliver, a few minutes in his company and Bruce didn't feel as if he needed a month alone in an Ashram somewhere. Oliver was OK. He was tolerable. He was even amusing occasionally.
And the fact that he'd turned up here, well - that was appreciated. It would be remembered. And Bruce Wayne was a person it was in your interests to be remembered by (for the right reasons).
Bruce has been here going on two weeks now and he's not looking the better for it. The jumpsuit isn't the worst of it (in fact it's been said he fills it out quite nicely - he's ignored the compliment) - he's been on the wrong side of a few fists and feet and is now sick to boot. The jumpsuit is complimented by some fashionable jewelery on his wrists.
"Oliver,"
Bruce greets him with a smile - with a smile - and, in typical Bruce Wayne fashion, he says it with complete dignity and self assurance as if he is completely unaffected by his circumstances - he's still every bit the lord of the manor.
"Good to see you again. Take a seat."

No, he's not here to bust him out. He wishes he knew what he could do to make things better. Oliver's eyes scan over the evidence of Bruce's run in with the prison welcoming committee. He can't help but wonder if some of those bruises weren't put there by the guards who are supposed to protect him.
"I'm sorry I didn't come sooner. I didn't think I was much good to you in here, but for what it's worth, I have been trying to find something or someone out there that can clear this up." He's looking for evidence that you didn't do this. It's not something Oliver would normally admit, but he's worried. He doubts that Bruce has been cooperating all that much with his defense. Guilt probably. He lost someone he cared about and now he's the one facing the music for it.
"I'm sorry about Vesper." And he is. He doubts it's something Bruce wants to talk about, but he has to say it. Because it's unlikely that most people have mentioned it. In fact it's unlikely most people have even came by to check on Bruce. They're too busy backing away to save their own reputations.
Sitting back in his chair, he asks quietly, "Is there anything that you need me to do?"
