The last few days have been filled with happiness and excitement and also chaos. I am waitlisted for two of my Communication classes that I really need for my major. I went to both classes and was the annoying little student, with the cute smile who told students to consider dropping this class NOW. The professors thought it was funny...even the one prof said,"are you going to hand out money if one the students drops the class?" Obvisouly not considering my advertising book costs a whopping $160.00!!!. Anyways, tonight I recieved an awesome email from my one of COMA profs with an awesome opportunity about taking an alternative class that would fulfill the Communication writing class..so of course I'm taking that opportunity up. I also decided to drop my religion course after realizing that the Dean of Humainties teaches it...first warning sign...very difficult, takes up most of one's time. I thought the class would not be as intense and deep analytical thinking as it is...should of realized not my major why and I am taking a 300 level religion class...if it just satisfies a GUR. Lesson number one...! And my dad's advice was to NOT take the religion course and stick with my literature course...because the lit course has two papers and thats it for assignments well besides reading. But i think my success rate will be higher in the literature class than the religion class. One reason is the religion course requires a 4,000 word paper due plus a 1,000 word paper due plus and extent amount of reading and deep analytical thinking about the History of Jesus and Christ of Faith. Also not having the religion course that is going to require me spending most of my time in the library researching, I will be able to focus on my Comm classes more and succeed in them..since I need A's in em'. So I feel as if my class schedule might be coming to permanent completion. Which makes my life less chaotic!! I'm looking forward to my Communication classes the proffs. are awesome so far and so are the people I have met in the COMM department. Its my passion to be a good communicator because like my proff said, "People don't come with mannuals."
Oh ya tomorrow afternoon/evening...very exciting event...adventure with cute guy...more details to come!
