The Big Picture
Sometimes, i get so focused and trapped in my life and problems, i miss important things. Work has been shitty for the last few months for example, and it's driving me nuts.
This article in The Guardian though, made me get my perspective back. I have been following the events in Burma on and off, but always with the interest of an audience. To me, it's a far corner of the world, like Chile (and we know there is one of the biggest civil revolutions happening as we speak), so it doesn't concern me much, does it? Well, today i feel different. I could have had a life like that, half in prison, tortured day in day out, half in exile. But i'm here, trying to get through my problems, which seem so insignificant in comparison. I'll try to keep that in mind when i go back to work tomorrow.
It doesn'tchange the fact that i'm working under a couple of jerks playing doctor. I keep looking for the camera they are acting for, i am yet to find it.
