worst part of my job
Slowly came to the realization that teen aged patients effect me more than children, who do effect me to the point of discomfort to begin with.
Recently i've had two teenagers. A 15 yo, 6 feet manboy, all rough and bulky with time spent at the gym. How quickly that facade crumbles... And a 15 yo girl, shorter than me due to her illness and the surgeries she had to go through. Both intelligent, willing to go back to school as soon as possible.
It'd really hurt me if something happened to these two. Which, i pray, never does.
