Got struck by heat
More like knocked out.
Should have seen it coming, right? I didn't think it was *that* hot outside. But it was noon. I could do with shades, cap and sunscreen alright, i thought. And there was not a single thing to eat in the fridge. And the grocery store wasn't that far.
God, how i want a car at times like these.
With bags weighing down more and more with each step, my sight started to dim around the edges. So when i got into my apartment at last, i started to take things off too quickly and methodically for a half-conscious person, stopped a second for an half-assed bath/splash at the sink and hit the bed.
Passed out soon after, with dreams that bothered me too much for my liking. Not outright nightmares, seeing as it was anything but night to start with. I remember the dream even now. Last i shouted someone to "shut the hell up!" until my throat hurt and woke up. Thank God.
It's 5.25 pm and i'm still feeling out of it, even after a cup of coffee and tea.
Next time, i'll be posting about nice things.
