(no subject)
So, I've actually had things to post about the last couple of weeks. Surprised? But everytime I tried to post, LJ was being a bitch-face.
First off, Mom had surgery two Wednesdays ago. Surgery went well, but then she ended up getting an infection. Fairly normal happenings from what I understand. She was admitted back into the hospital for 2 days while they got her sorted out. She's out, and doing well. Still very tired, but that's to be expected.
Our dryer broke, so now we have to go to the creepy laundromat in town that smells like the inside of someone's asshole. No lie. Getting ready to go in there in a few hours actually. Pray for me. Ugh.
Work has been going about the same. Apparel did get a new assistant manager about two months ago. So, that's taken my stress level down quite a few notches. Me and the old assistant DID. NOT. GET. ALONG. You think she'd be a bit nicer to me considering I have quite a bit of dirt on her, but whatever.
Finished up season three of Sons of Anarchy. Good God in Heaven. This show. I fucking LOVE IT! If you have not ever watched it, I HIGHLY reccommend it. I think the thing that I love most about this show is the fact that even though most of the main characters are not blood related, they are a FAMILY. No one fucks with a member of the club without serious retribution. Considering I have quite a few issues with my dad's side of the family, this really hit home for me. Because for the most part, the people that I consider my family are not blood relatives. To quote Bobby from Supernatural : "Family don't end with blood." Speaking of SOA, does anyone know where I can get screencaps? I'm itching to make icons...
