Miss you, E-World!

I've been busier than ever.
I'm graduating. I have to take seven college placement tests, five in May. I've applied at La Strada and some vintage stores, and I really hope to start a second job next week. I'm opening a bank account, finally *driving* some. I've been really busy with Zeitgeist, the new art collective I helped set up with some great people over a month ago. Our first show is Friday the thirteenth. Please come!

I'm going to remain in Houston for the next two semesters. I'll be doing all the art shows I can, taking all the classes I can afford, and working my ass off. I need a place to live in the loop by mid-summer [NOT alone!], and I have some prospects already. I need a car by January first, damn it.
After this year, I'm going to have nine advanced placement credits plus two semesters of art class creds to tranfer to art school. Saskia is going to the school I want to go to, Boston Museum School.

Boston Museum, or Cooper Union, or SanFran or New York or some shit. I've got a lot of schools in mind.
I'll get a lot of financial aid for a 3.985 GPA, arty credentials, and living on my own for a year [that means FAFSA will look at MY tax return rather than my mother's -- I have to pay for school myself.]

I've been in therapy for a month. It's helping a bit... I went in because I really have lost it with the panic attacks, the manic impulsive behavior, the inability to focus. And I just got referred to a psychologist.... @_@ we'll see how that goes.

I'm really psyched to be starting my life completely on my own. The hardships of having only yourself to rely on are blessings to me. I have a great support network right now, and I feel like I know what I'm doing.
I think I'm going to room with Dominique. I'm so thrilled about that :]

Saskia, we'll see you soon...
Next Fall, John and Dominique will be at Berkeley School of Music and I'll be joining Sas at Boston Museum. That is our pledge to each other, the CREAM OF THE CROP of our kind, on this side of town! But a lot can change in a year. A whole damn lot.

All of my friends my age are racing off to California, and a few are off to university.
I'm going to miss everyone so much. I can't believe this 'epoch' is nearly over. We're going to go crazy, and there's no one I'll forget.

Oh yeah ~ I'm about to get my drug case out of court. I don't know the terms yet, but I've been told it'll be a lot of community service and drug testing for a year.
Please don't do drugs around me! I can get deported just for being around drugs now. *Sigh* a year... it'll keep me in line, and it'll soon be over.

We painted the whole place in one night. Curated. IAMX played at midnight.
No order.
