Force Feeding
We ate at Burgers and Brew today. It was a bit pricey, but pretty good too. There was this family at a table next to us - mother, father, and toddler. The parents had set up one of those portable DVD players in front of the child, playing Sesame Street, or some other Muppet program. The child was looking everywhere except the DVD player. This restaurant was probably a novel experience for him, yet the parents found it necessary for some reason to bring a DVD player to stick in front of him, blocking his view of most of the novel stimuli. Pretty ridiculous.
