Happy New Year!
Y'all know what I have been doing these last few days? Tidying up after the worst storm in over a hundred years down at the seaside house. There were trees all over the road down, trees over the yard and fricken everywhere. So we've been cutting and pulling trees away off the lot. When we went down there after the storm we were half expecting ruins but the house had miraculously avoided all falling trees.
Of course, I had no right to the chainsaw, oh no. Women should apparently stay out of the way when real men play with their toys. :(
Worst thing is that there is another storm coming so we just may have to do it all over again. Good thing the boathouse didn't float away, our neighbor's did! My little boat was safely tucked inside.
And today it snowed so horsie got to be her nutty self yet another day, because during the storm she was nuttier than ever. It's been a week with the monster formerly known as Essi according to A. :D
Now we're off to celebrate New Years but I have a suspicion I will fall asleep at 10.
