Ok, he wants to go evil, that is known. Luckily Kripke doesn't seem to hold much esteem for Jared so his wish may not (hopefully) be granted.
And I'm grateful the show will be Cas/Dean because evol!Sam will be lethal! Jared's too good at the evol, he really is. He proved that in BUaBS, the performance was chilling. Geez, the singsong alone gave me the creeps. An entire season of such understated evil? Jared's going to need a coupe of security guys at his side any given moment. Because if Sam's mean to Dean it's goodnight Sam and there are people that have difficulties separating the character and the actor out there. I do hope Kripke listens to fandom and doesn't make Sam satanic because Jared would kick it out of the park, big time. Thing is, I wouldn't be able to watch without popping Valium.
Of course, it would do wonders for his career, but I suspect his portrayal of Sam already has since he's taken the character so far already. He's nailed every change in Sam, every emotion and still kept the character's core intact. Only a very good actor can do that.
I am kind of hoping Kripke lets Jared play a dual role next season, original Sam and the personification of Lucifer. That would make the entire arc wonderful and give Jared so much to work with, even if it's in the background.
Seems even Peter O'Toole agrees on the acting part. Hah! He looked into Jared's eyes and knew he was an actor! Aw, sweetness! So not reading anything else into that folks. I suspect looking into Jared's eyes can do things to people.*cough*

And: "This is a boy star. This is Jimmy Stewart meets Tom Hanks with a little Brad Pitt sex-appeal thrown in." Pretty high praise from the director.
Professionals do praise our boy, repeatedly. Fandom can just forget dissing his acting. The boy's gonna be one of the big names. Maybe not one of the stars that is on every tabloid, but one of the actors that will be remembered for his skill. Mark my words. I'm so proud of the boy!
Yes, I have better things to do, why do you ask? *goes back to boring RL*
