I don't have much time to write today. I just wanted to write about something that inspired me.
When I was younger, I used to see certain shapes and faces in objects. My basement in Ohio had fake wood paneling and it terrified me to see the shapes of faces on the wall. My imagination always got the better of me.. and it still does to this day..Veneer paneling is scary enough without adding scary faces that look like ghosts! I remember one day in particular that I walked past my closet and noticed a face shape that I had never seen before. For some reason this shape was more interesting than the others.. so .. I took out a drawing tablet and began to color in features.. I added a few things that I felt enhanced the picture and by the end of it, I witnessed a picture that I never knew I could draw before. Ever since then , I've been drawing faces. I discovered a hidden talent. Not until recently had I even realized the significance of what just happened. I was no longer afraid of my imagination. I developed it.. and learned from it..
What's the point of this story? Don't be afraid of your imagination.. embrace it.
