it's been a while....
Well let me start off by wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!!! Enjoy it!!
I am currently in Cali! I've been here since Saturday and will leave on Sunday to go back to a snow covered Rexburg, Idaho! I can't wait to go back. The weather has been really mild, like 55 everyday... until the last couple days I was there it was down to the 30s and on Monday it started snowing. Yay!!
I love school up there. It has its ups and downs but for the most part I really do love it. My roommates are awesome, I'm getting a great education, and I love the city... small as it may be. I can't wait for next semester when I'll have a job and be taking some way fun classes!! Next semester I'm taking:
Interpersonal Communication
Snowboarding
Visual Media
Book of Mormon 2nd Half
Biology
and a Biology Lab
I'm way stoked to take snowboarding. Every Friday they'll drive like, 500 students up to Targhee in Wyoming and teach us to snowboard! We'll be there from 10 to 6 every Friday! My parents got me a way cute snowboarding jacket and pants. Targhee, apparently, has amazing snow and it's like, all powder. I've heard it's some of the best snowboarding in the western hemisphere. And I get to learn on it!!!Sweet!!
I haven't been dating a whole lot up there, but I have gone a few way fun dates. And, I'm going on one tomorrow night down here. Yay! I'm being set up, again, and I talked to him last night and I think we are really going to hit it off. He's 26, in the Navy, short, cute... yeap. I'm excited.
My niece is so stinkin cute. I can't believe how big she is!! On Saturday she'll be 6 months already! That is just pure insanity. She's so much fun.
I can't believe I only have three weeks left in my first semester at BYU-I. It's pretty exciting. I will probably stay up there for the Summer semester because I've heard the summers up there are way fun and that way I can get done a bit faster. I already know who I'm going to room with and that makes me even more excited. She's so much fun and we are so much alike so I think it'll work out really well. We already know where we want to live and everything. Sweetness!!
I think tis all the update I have for now. I'm really liking being on my own. It's given me a lot of time to think and grow... I feel myself becoming more of an adult and I love it. It feels weird coming home and having to ask for permission to do things... but oh well. I like being my own boss out in Idaho. The school is beautiful, the Temple is beautiful and gets dedicated in February! So exciting! That's all life is right now... exciting. And I'm loving every minute of it...
