Less children in the U.S.?

According to a study released, more women are having less children - or none at all. It addresses all the demographic factors and percentages, however, it is missing a critical aspect - why are women choosing to have less or more importantly, none at all.

I'm choosing none at all. Why? There are many reasons. The big ones that pop out are:

- I don't have the time or patience. I would rather spend my time building a wonderful life for myself and Gellar. And even more, I want to give all my love and affection to him and no one else.
- I don't think I'd be good at it. Most women think this and I hear that when you have your own, it's a different story. But I think that me not wanting to be a mother drives this reason.
- They are expensive. College tuition is up. Food is up. Gas is up. Inflation is up. People are losing their homes. Now, bring a child into that. And, I can think of better ways to spend my money.
- With the extra money comes being able to do things on a whim. I love the freedom we have to hop on a plane at the last minute and go somewhere - do something.

Does this make me a bad person? No. I just made a choice that is best for me. I have so much respect for women who can do it all. And there are times when Gellar and I look at a family and sigh because we wish we could have it all. But it all comes down to choices because you can't have it all.

And now I'd like to hear from the audience.
Why don't you want any kids?
Or an even better question I've asked people for years - why do you want to have kids?
