Let's play the casting game

For the past year(!) I've been working on the story for a low budget comedy/action/sci-fi movie that just might happen. If all of the stars and planets align and it works out, it would be good to cast a "name" (i.e., A-list) actor in one of the supporting roles. Why supporting, you ask? Because it's less expensive that way. :)

The most likely role in the story I've developed is that of the antagonist, who's currently named Jay Graves. His name and even gender could change. Any ethnicity works for me. The requirements are someone who can play an American 30 to 45 year old scientist who's a bit charismatic, sometimes smug, and who ultimately comes unhinged.

I've started two lists without taking any of those pesky details like budget and actor availability into account. :) Suggestions?
