I tried to like Ashes to Ashes. I gave it three whole episodes. Although there were a few amusing moments, the writers primarily succeeded in making Alex as unlikable as possible, watering down Gene Hunt, reducing Chris and Ray to useless comic foils, and churning out predictable plots and 80s nostalgia.

So done with it.
