003 [voice]

Everybody panics over the slightest little horrific nightmare, and pays no attention to the answers that may be within them. Of course, that's so like this place. Nothing beyond the basest thoughts, no realizing what's important here. Everyone going to comfort each other because they had some bad dreams.

Children, the lot of you.

:evelynn, !voice, you are all literally children, dark tower dreams, :zexion, everyone else sucks

Then speak, what do the cards say to you?

They speak of something I'm unaware of the meaning to, but I suspect somebody here has better insight into it than I do. I don't know what the meaning is, but it's clear that the cards are the most important part of it, since -- judging by how people are reacting -- they are the parts not personal to anyone.

Of course, everyone here assumes that it's them that's important. [He snorts. Of course, it's him that's important.]

Most hearts are considerably self-infatuated, even before they begin to form outward bonds.

The matter of the cards...yes, it all returned to them. The reading carried the other dreams out, I suspect. This is a far cry from the usual. I venture to say tame, even. Comparitively.

Something to be contemplated, not consoled away.

Exactly. There is obviously meaning in the bits that aren't person-specific. The question is gathering that meaning. You have access to more knowledge than I do; do you have any idea what this means?

[Sometimes, the Nerevarine wonders why he seems to be one of the few people taking interest in how the hell to get out. And by 'sometimes', we mean 'frequently'.

This is one of those times.]

Well, I have vague abstractions of notions, but I also have the night to cross-reference.

Something I could help with. It wouldn't be the first time I had to look through ancient books for some possibly useful scrap of information based on nothing more than a good hunch.

Oh good. You are, of course, more than welcome in the library. Perhaps then we might speak face to face.

I suspect I will be paying you a visit in the coming days, then. Perhaps our lady Beatrice might be inclined to join us; after all, she seems to be one of the few other people here who gets the nature of this place.

The Endless Witch? I have not kept company with her yet, but that would be...enlightening, I suppose.
