Yesterday sucked royal ass.
I went to the plasma center in Frayser around 10:30. I sat there for over two hours before finally being told that I couldn't donate until my bruise from Tuesday was healed next week. So around 12:50, I'm trying to leave the parking lot. I was going to make a left hand turn into the turning lane so that I could merge into the right side of the road. To my left, there is a silver vehicle (I don't remember if it was a car or suv) a good ways down the road, plenty of space between me and him/her to make my turn. So I pull into the first lane, and suddenly a motorcycle comes down the next lane from behind that oncoming vehicle. I immediately slam on my breaks, the front of my car still in that first lane, putting me in danger of being hit by said oncoming vehicle. The motorcycle, on the other hand, sees me slamming on my breaks, freaks out, and jerks his bike to the side, losing control of it, and swerving and then tumbling into the turn lane. My car was at least 15 feet away from his bike when he lost control of it. So his bike slides out from under him and he goes tumbling down the turn lane, thank God not into oncoming traffic from the opposite side of the road. I attempt to back my car out of the road, but there's a thugged-out suv behind me who is apparently stupid and won't move. Eventually the idiot got the picture and backed up and so did I. By this time a throng of people are moving towards the injured man who THANK GOD was wearing a helmet because his head was the first thing that hit the pavement. I get out of my car and run over to him, and he is now sitting up, scraped up all to hell, moaning about his hurt shoulder.
People as me how I hit him. NEWS FLASH, our vehicles never once collided! So why were those idiots telling the cops when they arrived that I hit him?! He said I pulled out in front of him, when I am inclined to say the opposite. He zipped out in front of me. I maintained control of my vehicle while he did not. Yet the accident is deemed my fault because my apparent actions caused him to lose control of his vehicle. I took pics of my car as proof of no collision, so they can't say I did hit him either.
Everyone says that this is total bullshit, since I made effort not to hit him and technically wasn't moving when he spun out. We'll just have to see what the court decides. But I really fucking need this right now, don't I? I'm selling my blood to make extra money for bills I'm having the worst time paying because Wendy's cut my hours. I re-applied at Wal-Mart, but failed the assesment this time. So prolly nothing will come of that. My car needs an oil change that costs $50 and uses special oil that you can't buy at the store. My cat needs to go to the vet because his gums have been inflamed for a month. Mom is still unable to work due to her broken arm. Tom is still unemployed and no one will hire him. My comcast bill is going to double here shortly and I have no idea how I'm going to be able to handle it.
God I hate my life right now. People say I'm blessed to at least be alive, well I disagree. I disagree wholeheartedly.
