Just a quick update while I let my hair dry just enough to scrunch it after my shower....
Nothing very interesting has been going on. Like I said in my survey post, I spent 4 days in NJ with Eddie visiting my extended family. That was fun, and extremelly relaxing. No stupid quarrels, just hanging out, going to the bar, watching Bowl Week together, etc. It was a really nice time and I never wanted to leave, but we did anyway. Got home last week and have been pretty productive since. Most of my friends are working during the day so I don't get to see them much, but I've been hanging out with Eddie and his brother almost every day and then sleeping over at his place every night. He's in CT right now because he has two basketball games, so I finally have some free time to get stuff done and start packing to go back to school. I'm visiting Dee-Ann and the baby today, then hanging out with Amy and Nicole tonight, so that will be fun.
I'm getting excited but also very very very nervous about moving back into school this weekend. If I were moving back into the dorm and just didn't have Casey there and was probably going to have a new roommate, I'd be sort of nervous but not very; although I had the roommate from hell situation last year I figure it couldn't be worse than that. Plus, I'd still have Amy right down the hall and Nicole on days where she has class. But instead I'm moving into KD, on the outskirts of campus, with ELEVEN roommates in the 12-pack and sleeping with TWENTY-TWO other girls on deck.... I'm really nervous. I'm a person who needs personal space, and in the house I don't think I'm going to have much, if any. I was really hoping to not have to share a desk and get stuck at a table, but who knows; there are 4 girls living in the 12-er who have been sisters longer than me and they could claim the desks for themselves. I also don't want to share my closet. I moved most of my stuff in at the end of the semester and spread it out in the closet so hopefully I won't have to share with anyone (I picked one the girls who live there now said probabyl wuldn't be shared) and put my stuff on one of the desks. I might have to share the desk anyway but at least it's a desk. Argh, I'm so weirded out by this whole thing, not to mention ABSOLUTELY BROKE. Awesome.
Alright, my hair should be ok now and Dee-Ann is gonna be here soon, so I am gonna go get dressed and cute. "S", Eddie's band, is having their cd-release party on Friday night at 6 at the Gala Cafe in Manchester for $2 a head, with special guests Need 4 Panic (Pickle and Ryan's band) as their openers. If anyone wants to stop by, that would be awesome; their cd actually turned out pretty good, especially if you like Jewel (AHEM EMILY) or like Norah Jones, because Kayleigh has really strong vocals and Mikey D wrote some intense lyrics. Anyway, you should all come, it will be fun.
