holy crap i'm using this thing!!
random post from which will probably be the only one for the next 6 months to a year, or however long until i actually post again. when was the last time i did anyway? yah, bout six months. anyway, lessee..
didn't mention it before, but went to tx last june, went to the family reunion and got to see everyone, and they all met rob. met my sister's husband and stepdaughter. didn't get to see my other sister's baby. mom visited me over thanksgiving; we went to NYC so she could do touristy type stuff. she bought me a point and shoot digital camera for my christmas present. and i was good, didn't open it until christmas. actually sorta forgot about it sitting on the floor. got a wii for christmas from rob cause kindles were backordered. got a promotion to associate copyeditor that started jan 1. when kindles were back in stock, after kindle 2 was announced, got one of those. My older sister is pregnant with her second kid(not quite a year apart from the first) and waiting to hear any time now that she's gone into labor. she was due tues. younger sister pregnant with her second(technically third since she has a stepdaughter), and she's due in july. so i'm visiting alaska in august.
and unintentionally, i've upgraded/reinstalled the OS on both my desktop and laptop. reinstalled on desktop cause i didn't when i first got it(demo model from circuit city) cause the idiot kept insisting it didn't come with an OS disc, you made recovery discs(which isn't even an option anymore) and LOTRO kept getting horrible graphic lag. also overclocked my vid card and now it's just so nice. upgraded from tiger to leopard cause i bought ilife09 and didn't look and see it required leopard. didn't upgrade before cause it didn't seem necessary.
and yay! summer hours. extra hour mon-thurs, and i get to come home at 11:30. so very nice. now i just need to finish organizing crap on my puter so it's not annoying me, and then i can get my head where it needs to be in writing mode.
and i need to cut my nails so that i can frikkin type without errors.
