"Message for you, sir!"

A FBS delivery man arrived at the command deck of Starbase668 with a crate on a gravtug. He walked through the door and upended the crate onto the floor.

"Package. Who's signing for it?" An ensign started to question the delivery man about why the package hadn't been taken down to Central Receiving, but the FBS man cut her off. "I just deliver 'em. This one says to be delivered to 'Command Only'. Unless youse guys are commanding from Central Receiving, this is where it goes. Sign!" The cowed ensign signed, and the delivery man waddled off.

"Fat bastard," thought the ensign to herself, as she went to the duty officer. "Sir, there's a package here. Manifest says it's from Starfleet Command." The duty officer nodded, and then asked, "What's in the box?" The ensign shrugged, then processed the hatch on the crate. The hatch beeped, and began to fall forward. The ensign squeaked as she ran out of the way, and the crate fell to the floor with a hollow boom.

Inside was a transparent aluminum coffin, of the type to fit inside a photon torpedo for burial in space. The contents were obscured by a Slaver stasis field, making the contents impervious to damage. The duty officer grumbled, then switched the controls from "Slaver stasis" to "Medical stasis", which allowed viewing of the contents. The silvering of Slaver stasis cleared, leaving the interior still obscured by swirls of dark and clear liquid. Someone had jostled the container prior to Slaver stasis being activated, thought the officer to himself. He noted another control that would "drain preservative fluid", and activated it. "What kind of protection does this thing need?", he thought to himself. Had he noticed, the 'preservative fluid' was a special mixture of Kahlua and vodka, of a cocktail commonly known as a 'Mind Eraser'.

The fluid drained, and so did the blood from the officer's face. Inside the stasis canister was another clone of Mib Khan. The front of his uniform had a note attached to it that read, "In case of emergency, break glass." The officer slapped his combadge and quavered, "Get me the Commander. Sir, it's Khan. He's back."
