So the word of the week is FABULOUS....;)
It seems like I dont have a time to make updates, but I do when I can. Last weekend I planned a day trip with two other managers from my work of whom I love both dearly. Alex and Michael have to be two of the coolest people I have met here in Austin. Michael has been through some rough times right now since his mother is dying of cancer. To kinda take his mind off things, he and I planned a day trip out on Lake Travis to get away from it all. He picked up Alex, one of the other managers, and met up with Kc, Sean, Ciarra and I at Carlos and Charlies. We all rented a speed boat and blasted around the lake. I think we all had such a blast. We then all came back to our apartment and learned how to play poker. After lots of drinking at home and several rounds of poker to which I won - I cant play poker for shit yet I won since I was sober - everyone decided it was time to call it a night. Michael had to fly to Arkansas to be with his mom this weekend since she might not make it through the weekend. We were planning on going to San Antonio together so we could cruise around the riverwalk and eat somewhere nice. I think its a good thing that I didnt get to go this weekend because I have a severe case of the head flu or something. My sneezing will NOT stop. My head has been swimming all day.
In other news... I have a doctors appointment at my Gastroenterologists office tomorrow... You know the one I scheduled like a year ago... its finally come. I'm sure I will get no answers tomorrow... but I hope they have some kind of answers for me. I also hope this isnt an expensive appointment. I'm trying to set aside some money to rent a house asap, and after paying off my credit card and paying my monthly payment on my school loans last night I dont have a massive amount of money left to spare. I'm glad that I am paying them off, I appreciate the fact that I have money a lot more, even though I dont always get to spend it the way I like. I am hoping to go grocery shopping sometime this week granted time will allow me to.
I think there might be a possibility that we might have a new manager this week, which would be great. I would love it if they would hire Tiann but I cant get a read off my managers to know what they think of her. I know they also interviewed some doode, I dont want to say anything negative about him since I dont know him, he just seems young to me... or green. He seems like he is softer than I am, and I can be completely soft at times. I think the big thing that got me about him, was the fact that he had a soft handshake. I dont like people without a firm grip on your hand.... its like either they arent confident, or they doubt themselves in some way. At least, thats something I studied in Psychology class in college. Either way, I will teach whoever how to do their job, and then I will get a slight break, and maybe I will get a mini vacation sometime.... possibly???
Which brings me to something Fred and I were talking about. One night, we were at Denny's late at night and I had like 3 days off in a row... we were talking about just getting on a plane and going somewhere, actually anywhere would be cool, to just hope on a plane, go somewhere and then come back after a day or so. I get a great deal with the Omni and can stay anywhere for like 39 bucks a night.... so with that in mind, maybe I should research where all the Omni's are and start taking random flights when I get a day or two off. I hope Fred comes home soon. I miss that retard.
Well I guess thats about it at the moment... I need to go take some meds, I'm not feeling super hot right now. I hope I get to go grocery shopping soon....
