Though you're far away, you'll always be in my heart

Well most of you will have seen the memorial for michael jackson on tv and perhaps some of you were even there...

I watched it on Tv and it was a very moving ceremony.... When they brought in his casket.. it was so sad... His 4 brothers were the coffin bearers... and in Michaels honor they all wore 1 sparkly glove on the hand that guided the casket...

At the Beginning of teh ceremony Smokey Robinson read a few letters from People who were important to Michael but sadly could not make it to the service or couldn't bear to show teh world the pain they felt.

Several artists, actors and other important people gave speeches and told teh world how much they'll miss Michael and that he was a kind and gentle soul, full of love, compassion and anyone would want to be his friend. Brooke shields gave a wonderful speech about all teh things they did together and how they could be two kids when they were together.

During the service Sheila Jackson Lee came on stage who gave speech in which the United States of America declared Michael a National legend. I can only Imagen how proud his family must have been to hear that.

His brother Jermaine sang "Smile" from the movie Modern Times and it was truely moving... even I had to choke down a few tears. Jennifer Hudson, Usher and Mariah Carey were all brilliant in their tribute to Michael. Stevie wonder also performed during the service, he sang one of his classics "I'd never dream you'd leave in Summer" expressing everyones shock and disbelieve after the first news of Michael's tragic end.

However, the most moving part of the service in my opinion was the ending, when The background singers from Michael's Tour sang "We are the world" and during the song Close family and friends joined them on stage, together with a group of young children, children for who Michael tried his hardest to change the world into a better place and then sang "heal the world"

After this The Jackson family remained on stage, jermaine and Marlon then thanked everyone who was there and through out the world for the love and support they recieved from them and shared some of their memories of Michael with us. Then Paris Jackson, Michael's Daughter said a few words, they were few, but so very important, She told teh world that to her Michael was the best father in the world and that she loves him.

The family then Guided Michael's casket out the arena to the sweet melody of "Man in the Mirror"

after the service was over, A single spotlight was aimed atteh middle of the stage, with a microphone in the middle, symbolising the Lose of a great Artist and an even greater person.

Overal, i found the Service to be very moving, it was simple yet elegant in such a way, I think Michael would have liked it... No silly fireworks and flashy light shows.. just a very elegant and mature Service, Dedicated to not only the artist but mostly to the Person he was when he was with his loved ones...

RIP Michael, You will me missed.
