To recap yesterday's Disney Marathon at GJ n Maartje's place:
-Lilo & Stitch: remains to be good and fresh and... DEM HIPS!
-The Princess & The Frog: suffers from the controversies surrounding the race of the characters. very stiff animated, even the supossed comic relief characters. everything feels restrained. Songs=lame Highlights: I must say it again, Charlotte was my favorite, what a delightful girl and I suppose the animator was having a blast. Second, the restaurant daydream, classy 20's stylised animation: YES!
-Emperor's New Groove: great acting, everything was a pure LOLLERCOASTER! Hilarious! :D We agreed that the less songs in a Disney move, the better it gets!
And that whiny princesses shouldn't dictate what we're going to see, sadly. (No Black Cauldron to finish of the marathon, but instead Beauty & The Beast, gah).
But all with all, thank you everybody for the good times (and the food)! :)
