Pamela got a Roomba from her dad.

And OMG IT'S SO CUTE!!!

And the dogs are flipping out. Or ignoring it.

It has a little blue light that goes on when it finds a really dirty area because then it gets happy because it can focus on one area and super clean it.

And dude, it's SO CUTE.

My best (rich) friend has had one for a few years. Yea, they're cute as hell, but with the way my place gets I've wondered how many days it would last before I would burn it out. And I'm sure the cats would freak for the first couple of days and then just sit on the couch and watch it.

Uh, yeah. Don't bother with one - really cute, but totally not worth the money considering how clean it gets the carpets/floor.

It cleaned the library for 2 hours this morning (maybe a little less), and got it no cleaner than I could've with a normal vacuum and half an hour.

Pamela didn't buy it - her father sent it for Christmas, I believe. Maybe her birthday.

Very cute. Only close to practical in houses with no pets and no kids.
