I just finished wrapping the last of the christmas presents. I'm glad my younger siblings don't believe in Santa anymore so we don't have to do that whole wrap gifts at 4am. Waking up at 9 to open presents when I only went to sleep at 7 did not encourage a lot of christmas cheer.

Being with my family has been really nice, 3 days so far and I still am not going out of my mind. I do miss all my peeps though. Shout out!

The bus ride up was long. Made even longer by the annoying people who were sitting around me. I'm pretty sure it is what hell would be like- A never ending bus ride with these people.

Directly across from me was a slightly retarted woman and behind her was another woman (think older southern lesbian with christmas sweater). They talked with each other so loudly (apparently they both knew each other from the small, middle of nowhere college they went to in Albany) that the whole bus could hear. Some highlights:

"I just don't think abortion should be legal, I mean why can't women just give the babies up for adoption. That's what jesus would want."

Once this younger black guy came from the back of the bus and very nicely and politely asked for them to quiet down. Their response after he returned to his seat was

Slow Girl: "If you want to sleep you shouldn't take a public form of transportation."
Christmas Sweater: "I know we weren't being that loud. But, the 16th president gave them their freedom."

WHAT THE FUCK! So they had revealed that they are naviely pro-choice and racist. Where did these people come from?

To top it all off the slow girl showed the other woman pictures of her cat for an HOUR. "Here's cottonball in a laudry basket, oh and that's him on the bed, oh and here he climbed in to a box."

I seriously thought about opening up the emergency window and jumping out on the interstate.

Hope everyone has a great christmas/holiday. I'm really exicited for some reason. Love, Marissa
