Greetings, fellow author! I hope that you have fun writing whatever idea you come up with and that this "Dear Author" can help inspire you! Also, I use both LJ and DW, so go ahead and post your fic on whichever site you prefer.
In fics, I like a lot of things: happy endings, bittersweet endings, drama, angst, and/or humor! Smut is fine if the story goes that direction, but please don't feel obligated to include any if you don't want to. What I really don't like are character/pairing bashing, rape, and needlessly depressing endings (but downer endings are totally okay if the story calls for it, and let's face it, some of the pairings I requested don't exactly lead themselves to happy endings). Now, let's take a look at each specific request!
* Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Sayaka/Madoka, Mami/Madoka. Madoka is one of my favorite characters, and she's pretty easy to ship with others. With Sayaka/Madoka, I really like the "friendship turning into love" trope, and with Mami/Madoka, there's the whole idolization thing going on. Thanks to certain spoilers, it's pretty fun to play around with the setting, and if you want to go for a post-canon story, go for it! And if you want to try your hand at a threesome, go right ahead!
* Sailor Moon: Haruka/Michiru, Rei/Ami. First off, it's been a long time since I've seen the anime, so I'm more familiar with the manga. Haruka/Michiru is practically a given; they're already canon, so that gives plenty of room to work with. Maybe domestic fluff with Setsuna and Hotaru, or something more action-packed? Now, with Rei/Ami, I'm pretty fond of the idea of opposites attract, especially with an ice/fire motif going on. They're the first two to join Usagi, so I feel there's a lot of potential there.
* Persona 4: Chie/Yukiko, Rise/Naoto. Two of my favorite pairings! With Chie/Yukiko, I really love the trope of friends becoming lovers, as I said above, and they just have plenty of subtext together. With Rise/Naoto, it's an opposites attract kind of thing, and I think they would have a cute relationship together, even if Naoto might find Rise overbearing at times. And a note - while I've finished the game and seen a good chuck of the anime, I haven't finished Persona 4 Arena yet.
* Noir: Mireille/Kirika, Chloe/Kirika. One of the better-known yuri fandoms out there! With Mireille/Kirika, I really loved seeing how their relationship developed throughout the series, and I enjoy reading post-canon interpretations of their bond. With Chloe/Kirika, it's a dark pairing, and a happy ending isn't really possible, but it most definitely still has its charms. Maybe something taking place mid-series, shortly after Chloe's introduction, or maybe during their time at the Manor?
* Strawberry Panic: Shizuma/Nagisa, Amane/Hikari. These two are my favorite pairings in this canon, and I greatly prefer the anime to the light novels. With Shizuma/Nagisa, it might be fun to see how they're adjusting to being a couple, and what of their future after graduation? With Amane/Hikari, maybe focusing on them adjusting to the role of the Étoile, the idols of all three schools, and how that might affect their romance? Or if you want to go the foursome route, I certainly won't object at all.
