I forgot to mention the weirdness that is Shawn Ashmore's twin brother playing Jimmy Olsen. Not that I dislike him necessary, but since his brother has already been on the show playing another character, it's sort of awkward. Especially since Chloe and Clark and Pete were in the same class with Shawn's character, now we're supposed to pretend Jimmy isn't at all familiar to them? Odd.
Also, we saw The Descent at the dollar theater yesterday while Wes was grabbing apps for seasonal work. Just FYI, mom, holiday plans may suck cuz he may be working the day before and day after all of 'em. Be warned. In any case, it was a very interesting horror movie. The first half which focused simply on the women adventuring and exploring the freaking scary, claustrophobic, dangerous cave was far more frightening to me than the last half. The last half introduces the bat-people living in the cave and wanting to eat the women. Less interesting. The action and gore are still good, but the first half was more suspenseful and more original. All that crawling through little tunnels? THAT scared me. Though my fear of heights is far greater than my claustrophobia. Dorky ending for those of us in the US... I want someday to see the British ending, which I hear is less "upbeat". hehehhe
